Too close for comfort
Anaheim opened a 4-0 lead on goals by Teemu Selanne, Bobby Ryan, Corey Perry and Mike Brown, only to see Phoenix score three times in the third period and make the score 4-3 with 5:24 remaining, but the Ducks held on for the win.

Ray Emery, 30 saves in Philadelphia's 2-1 shootout win over St. Louis. No. 3 Chris Mason (35 saves), No. 2 Scott Hartnell (1 goal), No. 1 Mika Pyorala (shootout winner.)
