Key games
Phoenix @ Detroit - At this point we'd rather see Phoenix win this game than Detroit since Detroit is closer to the Wild. But the outcome doesn't threaten our 7th place standing tonight, either way. We just want to avoid the 3-point game.
Chicago @ Vancouver - We woul prefer the Blackhawks win this game, as we still have a chance to catch the Canucks for the division. However that chance is predicated on the Canucks losing their last three and the Wild winning their last three - so, in other words, not a good chance.
Bottom line
The Wild is floundering. Oh-fer April at home, playing down to their opponents, hot or cold scoring, hot or cold goaltending....not a pretty picture, overall. They technically control their fate at this point, but any help will be accepted and appreciated.
